Louisiana Student Standards for Science

Louisiana adopted new science standards in 2017.  During the 2017-2018 school year, students in grades 3-8 were field tested on the new standards.   During the 2018-2019 school year, students in grades 3-8 and Biology will be assessed on the Louisiana Student Standards for Science using the LEAP 2025.

For reference, the new science standards are replacing Benchmarks adopted in 1997.
