STHS Baseball Team Raises Money For Cancer!

The South Terrebonne High Baseball Team had a STRIKE OUT CANCER GAME on April 1, 2017, and did something quite special.  The team raised $6,500.00 in donations and presented the check to the Mary Bird Perkins TGMC Cancer Center on May 5, 2017. CSI helped to set up the game and were the assisting sponsor to Coach Barba and the event.

Coach Barba and his student athletes are to be commended for giving back to the community.

Coach Mike Barba, STHS, (center right) holds the check along with Amy Ponson, Director of Development for Mary Bird Perkins TGMC Cancer Center (center left).  Stan Gravois, Director-TGMC Community Sports Institute, (left) along with members of the STHS Baseball Team are in attendance to celebrate the power of the donation.
